How Pay-Per-Delete Credit Repair Actually Works

April 28, 20265 min read

Most credit repair companies bill you a monthly fee whether or not anything is removed from your report. The pay-per-delete model is the opposite — you only pay after a negative item has been permanently deleted from one of the three major credit bureaus.

At Fortress Credit Pro, the process starts with a $1 consultation. A credit expert reviews your full report with you and gives you a clear quote on what can be challenged. Then we run a $397 audit, draft custom dispute letters, and challenge eligible items across all three bureaus simultaneously.

When a deletion is confirmed, you pay $125 per item per bureau (or a discounted $100 if paid within 7 days). Hard inquiry removals are $25 each. There are no monthly fees, no hidden costs, no charges for items that aren't deleted.

Why does this work? Because the law requires every item on your credit report to be 100% accurate and verifiable. Most negative items contain at least one error — a wrong date, an incorrect balance, a missing signature. Our team finds those errors and uses federal credit reporting law to demand removal.

If you've been burned by a credit repair company in the past, the pay-per-delete model removes the risk. We don't get paid unless you get results.
